Vancouver enjoys a very mild climate; palm trees can (and do) grow there. While the winter months can be rainy, temperatures rarely goes below freezing. In the early summer the days often start out cloudy, due to marine air, but become clear by noon. Summer temperatures are not extreme, the typical day time high between June and August is around 24-25°C (75-77°F) away from the immediate seaside cooling effect.
